Scientific landscape of project management literature in 2018

Nowadays we faced with a growing number of articles in the field of project management. In this cross-sectional survey, we aimed to analyze, summarize and visualize the scientific landscape of 2017 project management literature.On 10 December 2018 SCOPUS was searched with the query SUBJAREA ( engi ) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY ( industrial engineering ) AND ( LIMIT-TO ( PUBYEAR , 2017 ) ) to find 2018 project management literature. Results were analyzed by VOSviewer 1.6.6. using co-occurrence network analysis method for science mapping.1586 documents found in SCOPUS. Creativity, innovation and engineering education were the most popular topics. Chine, Russian Federation and the United States had the highest number of articles. Journal of cleaner production, iop conference series: materials science and engineering and production planning and control had the highest impact.Rapidly growing and ground-breaking issued e.g. artificial intelligence was not common among project management researchers, which needs more attention.
