Abstract:

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major cause of serious acute lower respiratory disease in infants and young children and is found mainly in the late fall, winter, and spring. The host defense mechanisms against HRSV infection are a mixture of intrinsic and acquired immune responses. In recent years, due to genetic changes and mutations caused by a number of respiratory viruses, severe illnesses have been caused, resulting in a high mortality rate in some countries and a high health and health care cost to health systems. Therefore, the study of molecular epidemiology, determination of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) strains in patients with respiratory infections are necessary as a case study.Materials and Methods: In this study the rate of HRSV infection was investigated in military garrison. - the population of types A and B of the virus have been investigated with PCR - a comparison was made between the blood groups of the individuals and the types of virus - the age of the individuals and their percentage of the virus - the symptoms observed in the individuals and types of the virus Results: After the PCR tests, the samples were evaluated in terms of the sequence.. the level of involvement of type A people is far more than type B and the most common symptom between patients with sore throat. Research findings indicate that most of the subjects are aged 18 to 23 years old and the most commonly involved in blood type A. Conclusions: according to the finding of this study, in patients with respiratory infections showed that the most infections were due to the presence of RSV. The most commonly reported contamination is RSV type A.
