Abstract:
The concept of saturated porous media, solid skeleton phase and pore fluid phase, attracted remarkable attention during the last few decades especially its numerical modeling and simulation. The implementation of its theory especially in finite element (FE) analysis has been the main topic of numerous studies and researches. In this paper the main theoretical concepts of the deformation and behavior of porous reservoir due to the change of pore fluid pressure is explained and then few examples regarding this main concept are studied
