Local Optical Field Enhancement within Hybrid structure of Photonic crystal-Plasmonic Nano Ring abstract
A plasmonic nano-particles based resonator structure which effectively concentrates and improves the incident optical field within subwavelength scale area has been presented. The proposed structure supports a highly enhanced fundamental mode resonant at λ = 1.55μm. Yielding strongly enhanced local optical field within a subwavelength space in the presented structure provides it for being applied in divers applications based on nanometer scale confining and improving of light. The optical characteristics of the designed structure have been simulated and analyzed numerically utilizing FDTD method.
