Construction and Implementation of Power Quality Improvement Converter Based on Boost Topology abstract
In this paper, a boost converter is analyzed, simulated and constructed in continuous conduction mode based on the average current control technique to improve power quality. This AC-DC converter has boost topology embedded at the beginning of a switching mode power supply with a half-bridge topology to correct the power factorand reduce the harmonic distortion of the current. Meanwhile, the simulation is performed by the PSIM software.
