Study of photovoltaic solar cells characteristics using MATLAB/Simulink

This paper describes theory, modeling and simulation of the photovoltaic solar panel that implemented in MATLAB/Simulink program. The one-diode equivalent circuit model employed and effect of variation some solar panel parameters such as temperature, ideality factor, shunt and series resistances and etc, on the I-V and P-V characteristics and performance of the solar panel are obtained
