Abstract:
A triple-band patch antenna for operating at 12.306 GHz, 14.13 GHz, and 17.598 GHz frequencies is proposed with E-shaped slot and tapered circular parasitic patches which are used to improve the gain of the antenna. Moreover, some of the circular parasitic patches are used to improve impedance matching. The antenna which is printed on the Rogers RT5880 substrate has the dimension of 35.9 × 63.94 × 1.6 mm3. In the proposed antenna, tapered microstrip line feed is used to make better impedance matching
