Forging a New Security Order for the Persian Gulf abstract
The Search for a Common Persian Gulf Security Order This article rests on one basic assumption: past approaches to regional security in the Persian Gulf have failed. Inherently, new approaches and policy options must be duly considered and given equal weight to the status quo. The goal of this article is therefore to lay out the broad parameters for more effective bilateral and multilateral security policies within the region, as well as policies of external powers toward the region.
