Abstract:
The exchange of matter and energy in open systems leads to the formation of chaotic and nonlinear behaviors, which is interpreted as instability. The structural, mathematical, and geomorphic features of these unstable systems create a variety of environmental potentials that are renewable and sustainable sources of energy. Wind energy is one of these energy sources, although it has a significant spatial distribution and spatial distribution, but in areas with specific characteristics, wind can be used as a source of energy. The plain of Lut is among these areas which, given its structural and mathematical features, has a high potential for wind power as one of the most reliable sources of energy. In this regard, the present study tries to evaluate the potential of wind energy in this plain, while evaluating the features of the Lut plain as one of the most unsustainable geosystems. The results of this study indicate that 65 percent of the winds in the region have a speed of 11 to 17 kilometers per hour. Accordingly, 18.3 percent of the winds in the region have a velocity between 17 and more than 22 kilometers per hour, which creates this high potential for wind energy as a sustainable energy source in the Lut plain.
