Power System Stability of Synchronous Generator During Large Penetration of Renewable Energy abstract

In this paper, a new synchronous control strategy is proposed to enhance the power system stability of synchronous generator during large scale penetration of renewable-based power plants. Hence, deviation signals of both the active and reactive power have been thoroughly analyzed and evaluated. Following that, the angular frequency deviation of power system in regard to the suggested synchronous control strategy has been appraised. Matlab/Simulink software is used to simulate and confirm the performance of the suggested synchronous control strategy for converters during large penetration of renewable-based power plants into the understudy power system.
