Effect of both LPA and organically modified nanoclay on cure reaction kinetics of unsaturated polyester resins abstract
The reaction between unsaturated polyester (UP) resin and styrene (St) is a free-radical chain-growth cross-linking copolymerization which can provide an excellent mechanical and physical properties for cured unsaturated polyester (UP) products. Better understanding of the reaction kinetics at different curing conditions in unsaturated polyester (UP) resin, gives us important information to select curing system and predict the properties of product. The objective of this study is to understand the effect of LPA and organically modified clay on reaction kinetics of unsaturated polyester resins.
