Climate change and its consequences on transportation

Climate change is not just a problem for the future. Recent global climate change such as warming temperature likely reflect the effects of GHG (green house gasses) emissions into the atmosphere over the past century which is unfortunately not stabilized by nowadays and even if drastic measures were taken today to stabilize or eliminate GHG emissions the effects of climate change on transportation would be easily experienced; therefore, transportation professionals forced to adapt to the consequences of climate change.
