Effect of Angelica Extract on Liver Cancer Cell Line abstract
Liver cancer is the second outstanding reason for cancer-related death global and thus a main public health challenge. Plant-based drugs are regarded as promising therapies. Angelica a medicinal plant used as a natural medicine. Therefore, we assessed the biological effects of the alcoholic extract of angelica on liver cancer (HepG2) cell line. Cell proliferation and cell viability were investigated in the presence of various concentrations of the angelica by MTT-method. Cell proliferation and cell viability studies represented anticancer characteristics of dose-dependent of angelica extract. It can be concluded that the alcoholic extract of angelica can be suggested as a novel anticancer extraction to inhibit the growth of liver cancer cells.
