Abstract:

Background and Aim : Drug addiction is a social disaster, and the devastation resulting from the collapse of many cultural and moral values and norms. Addiction is a psychological, social and economic disease that has become one of the most serious humanitarian and humanitarian problems in recent years, which undermines the foundations of human societies. In addition to its growing, this phenomenon has affected all the strata and groups of society, including women, so that the addiction of women along with men s addiction is rapidly expanding; as addiction to women is increasing rapidly with men s addiction, nonetheless, most research studies discuss men s addiction, and women s addiction has been underestimated. According to world statistics, women play a significant role in society and are considered as the main pillar of the family, Addiction in women is more dangerous than men. Because the consequences of women s addiction to society are much more terrible than the consequences of men s addiction, research in this regard is necessary. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the tendency towards narcotics in women, including personal, social, familial, economic and individual and community attitudes. Methods : The present study was conducted using descriptive-analytic method which is a qualitative research group.Results : Findings suggest that addiction is not a single - dimensional category, and causes a variety of factors to interact and cause an individual s addiction. In fact, addiction acts as a cycle that, on the other hand, causes the disintegration of the family foundation, and on the other hand, social, economic, and psychological problems, etc., cause the emergence of addiction. The results show that various factors such as lack of self-esteem, need for attention, increased psychological disorders and the spread of depression are among the factors influencing the increase in drug use in women, each of which has many personal and social consequences they will be together. It is also necessary to point out that the addicted family and easy access to drugs are among the main causes of drug trafficking. Conclusion : Therefore, in order to prevent it, it is necessary to pay more attention to the family of patients as vulnerable groups in planning, and to provide the necessary training on the causes and ways of preventing it.
