Gray code and shaft encoder design based on it

Nowadays, electrical and electronic engineers use encoder shaft sensors to determine precise position in rotational motion. Previously for this purpose, the binary codes were used in these sensors. During the span of this code, scientists have found that the use of them can cause serious errors. After a long time trying to fix this problem, gray code replaced instead of binary code. In this article, modality of fixing the problem is described by using gray code, and also the design of BCD to gray code converter circuit is stated.
