Improvement of Orbitron Emitter at Microwave Radiation abstract

Design high power microwave source in a vacuum tube is proposed based on the theory of negative mass instability. Charged particles are injected to the structure by an electron source. Emitted particles move around the anode, leading electron acceleration and emission of electromagnetic waves. In this paper, the output power and frequency of microwave source is enhanced by variation of initial energy for particles and the number of anodes incorporating their specific arrangement and applied voltages.
