Abstract:

Abstract In this article, the functional and componentialrelationship of Iranian and Indian architecture is reviewed.Also, the architectural relationship is considered in order todetermine how it made a prominent model of economic andarchitectural relationship between the two countries since 1932to 1965. Interconnections strengthen the architecture of thesecountries via the presence of religious buildings and promoteexchange of art, which is expressed in the article.The Hindutemple in Bandar Abbas reflects the artistic relation of the twocountries. It also shows the mythical period (Vishny, Shiv,Brahma) during which the temple existed.What will be achieved from the dome and interior andexterior architecture of this building include thesefactors :symmetry in Islamic buildings especially the Hindu Temple inBandarabbas, cultural relationships between Iran and Indian,Lotus in Iranian buildings such as Perspolis and Indianbuildings such as wetlands, similarities of Hindu Dome (thethousand-head snake, 72 mini towers indicating 72 Angkortemples as well as Islamic religions of men and womenrelation of the dome with the gods of Vishnu, the crest of thedome, paintings on the wall, various religions, beliefs andtraditions, the art of building religious structures, the internalelements, vaults and porches, the relationship of architecturalelements in this building and their compatibility with the kindof architecture in Bandarabbas (the structural elements used inthe building). It is then discussed how these factors affectedboth cultures during several periods of economical and politicalrelationship. Analyzing every one of the mentioned factors indetails, we state that what effect the architectural relationshipsand various beliefs of Iran and India had on their religiousbuildings and on the process of building
