Abstract:Joint venture jv consturction projects are opportunities in which organizaations with different levels of financial and technical competencies collaborate with each other to achieve better project performance The risks which are evolved in these kinds of projects can lead to seriouse issues which may interrupt theflow of work create delay cause cost overrum and even hinder project success. the main objective of this paper is to identify evaluate and classify risks in JV construction projects in iran in this research Qom monorail project as a JV agreement is selected for developing a project risk evaluation framework By reviewing literature and expert judgments thirty three risks are identified and categorized in three main groups internal risks project related risks and external risks .
