Today, the deterioration of concrete structures due to reinforcement corrosion is a majorproblem in marine environments such as the Persian Gulf. Chloride induced corrosion is themain reason for premature deterioration, and sometimes failure, of reinforced concretestructures constructed in this region [1,2]
