Viscous dampers are hydraulic devices which can be applied in civil structures to minimize the effects of the seismic action through the dissipation of the kinetic energy transmitted by an earthquake to the structure. Energy absorption is the main reason of using dampers that diminish the main structural damage in the earthquake. In the recent years, a lot of scientific contributions have dealt with many specific features related to the design of viscous dampers that affect seismic response. On the other hand, the brace restrained buckling systems are more sustainable compared with other braced frames because they attain relatively greater strength with less material, which let the constructor use less overall steel. The expansion compression capacity of the BRB system simplifies the foundation and the connection design demands
