Changes of biochemical parameters of Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) juvenile in different condition of water of plastic bags in transportation period

Biochemical parameters are considered as indicators to determine the response of fish to different environmental conditions in one-year-old Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) during a long-distance transportation in plastic bags. 300 Common Carp juvenile with average weight of 50.50±10.20 g were introduced to 10 liter plastic bags in stocking density of 0.1 kg/ l in 5 treatments (water temperature of 25oC, 18oC, 10oC, water salinity of 5 and 0.5 g/l) with three replicates. In total 15 plastic bags were used in this trial. The experiment was carried out in completely random design. The effect of 12 h transport period on the biochemical profiles of common carp were investigated in experimental treatments. A quantity of 2-3 mL of blood was taken from 10 fish of plastic bag by caudal venous puncture at the beginning and the ending of the experimental trial. The aspartate aminotransferase (AST) alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and activities were estimated using commercial kits (Pars Azmoon, Tehran, Iran) and an Auto analyser. the level of plasma cortisol of Common carp juvenile was 60.00 ng/ml and was increased to 33.50 ng/ml after 12 h transportation period, while the addition of 0.5 g/l of salt decreased this immunity factor to 11.67 ng/ml. the maximum of AST was obtained in treatment of A where the common carp juvenile were transported for 12 h in water of 25Oc but the minimum of this liver enzymes in plasma of was observe in water of 10oC (treatment of C). The transportation of Carp juvenile in water with salinity of 0.5 g/l had lowest ALP (50.00 U/L) in treatment of E. However the different condition of water in plastic bag at transportation of Common Carp had variety effects on plasma biochemical parameters.
