Abstract:
this paper proposes a ninlinear integral model of cell formation under static condition. The cell formation (CF) problem of cellular menufactoring strategy (CMS), in which the parts and machines will be clustered with the aim of minimizing related costs. Under static cindition, calls are formed for a single-period planning horizon where product mix and the demand of each product are fixed. to verify the presented model, differentproblems have been solved and results heve been reported. Because the cell formation problem belongs to NP class, it is necessary to use a relatively efficient approach. In this research, we have applied a neural approach based on mean filed theory for solving the proposed model and the efficiency of this approach has been verified through comparing with the optimal solution which has been obtained by LINGO. Also we have used GA as a benchmark for comparison.
