Abstract:

This paper evaluates and priorities factors that are effective in technology transfer in Agriculture BiotechnologyResearch Institute of Iran which has a mission to secure food safety and develop agricultural process by using newsciences such as biotechnology and genetic engineering. In due attention to the rapid changing nature ofbiotechnology and high risks of investing in this field, it is essential to recognize the effective factors accurately toprevent failure in technology transfer. This survey has done in a statistical population contain scientists and expertswho has experienced working in the Institute. Eventually we‟ve evaluated the factors validity by statistical tests andalso the recognized effective factors priorities in each category, that were generally identified by AnalyticalHierarchy Process (AHP) via the software Excel. These priorities describe the high importance of organization-ware(37.2%), information-ware (26.4%), Human-ware (22.2%) and eventually human-ware (14.2%) respectively andalso for mediating variables government support (58.7%), sanction (20.3%), finance (13.9%) and time (7%).
