Abstract:

This study was conducted by 32 barley genotypes using two experiments of RBYTA1 and RBYTA2 those each trial was performed by 14 genotypes and two vareieties of mahoor and izeh as check. Trials were performed at 3 stations (Gachsaran, Moghan and Gonbad) during one year (2009-2010) using randomized compelet block design with 3 replications and each genotype was planted in a 6 rows, 17.5 cm line spacimg and 7.03 meters length. During growth session, data was collected from some important morpho- physiological traits and then simple analysis was done for yield and some important triats data related to each experiment. Mean comparisons were done by least significant difference (LSD) method at 5% and 1% probability level. Present report belongs to gachsaran station as territorial report. Results from gachsaran site indicated that genotypes were significantly different in respect of yield of RBYTA1 trial at 1% probability level and RBYTA2 trial not significant at the probability level. Results showed that grain yield was ranged for the RBYTA1 from 2073.8 kg/ha to 3404.2 kg/ha for Izeh cultivar and L4 and for RBYTA2 was ranged from 1876.9 kg/ha to 3990.4 kg/ha for Izeh cultivar to L13 respectively. In the first trial L4 Soufara-02/3/RM1508/Por//Wi2269/4/Hml-02/Arabi Abiad//ER/Apm ICB92-0926-OAP-3AP-OAP-8TR-2TR-OAP with 42.5% yield increment relation to checks and for 2nd trial L13 Soufara02/3/RM1508/Por//WI2269/4/Hml02/ArabiAbiad//ER/APM ICB92-0926- OAP-7AP-0AP-12TR-9TR-0AP with 71.6% yield increment relation to checks are located in the first rank. But in the RBYTA1 lines 6, 10 and 5 with 3231.7 kg/ha and 35.3%, 3100.3 kg/ha and 29.8% and 3087.7 kg/ha and 29.3% yield and increment relation to checks are placed in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rank respectevily. Same as last trial, lines 2, 3 and 1 with 3460.7 kg/ha and 48.9%, 3352.8 kg/ha and 44.2% and 3038.4 kg/ha and 30.7% yield and increment relation to checks are located in the 2nd, 3rt and 4th ranks respectevily. Results of mean comparisons via LSD method at the 5% and 1% statistical levels that in the RBYTA1 lines 4 and 6 are located in the A class, lines 5 and are located in the B class and the rest of lines are located at the same check level. But in the RBYTA2 line 13 in the A class, lines 2 and 3 in the B class and the rest of lines are classified in the same classes of check. Finally, 11 lines from each experiment are selected for the supplementary investigation at the URBYT in the next year.
