Abstract:

For evaluatian the effects of use of different levels of urea in camel fattening diet a.compgetely randomize designe carried out using 35 camels (2 years old) in 7 replicate and 5 treats as diets contain of %0.0 . %1.5 , %1.75 r %2 and %2.25 urcra for 5 months. All diets contain % 14 cp and 196.5 Mcal/kg metaboEs;';1 energy. Average daily gain in different treats was 380.21 +- 129.1 . 365.7 :!:: 76.78 . 310.6 +- 113.9 , 245 +- 47.57 and 184 +- 92.2 g/day respectively The effect of diets on daily gain was not significant (P > 0.05). The feec.;Jain ratio was 10.35 110.02.10.92 ,11.3 and 11.72 respectively. Average teed intake was 1.71 I 1.71 . 1.72 , 1.75 and 1.72 kg OM/kg liveweight respecliv :ly . Dressing, percentage in different diets was 51.93 :t 0.7 . 51.01 +-1.:' , 51.14+- 0.87 . 53.21 +- 1.5 and 51.62:+- 1.43 respectively and the effect of diets on this trait was not significant ( P > 0/05) . Averag meat I bone and fat percentage contain in carcass in all camels was 67.5 I 22.1 and 7.7 respectircly.
