Abstract:

There are three kinds of native sheep breeds in kohkiloyek & boyer ahmad. Lake Ghashgaei, Bahmaei and Arbi. The Prick of this study was determination of suitable and economic for fattening and evaluation of the carcass triats of Bahmaei sheep breed, Thirty six Bahmaei ram lambs purchased and they assigned in to 3 groups (12 lambs / group) according to their weight. A = 2Q-25kg, B = 25-30kg and C = 30-35kg,Proximate age was four to eight months and age groups was almost equal. Duration of experiment was 132 days that first 20 days was for adaption. The lambs individually weighted every 28 days. At the end of the experiment 3 Jambs/group slaughtered and cut in to pieces of carcass. Design model was (completely randomized design). Daily gain of groups A I Band C were 0.161 , 0.176 and 0.188kg. Daily gain of group A at contrast with C were significant (P < 0.05). Gain percent of groups A , Band C were 80 I 71 and 64 that three groups were significant (P < 0.01). Food conversion ratio of groups A , Band C were 6.55 , 7.5 and 8.37kg dry matter per kg gain. Carcasses efficiency of groups A , Band C were 48.27% , 47.33% and 51.84% meat without bone of carcass groups A , Band C were 55.73% , 55.84% and 55.11 % . Weight of fat carcasses (Fat - Tall + physicafat) ratio to total weigt carcasses of groups a, Band C wer 27.9% , 27.75% and 31.35% .In attention to three feature of average gain , gain percent and feed efficiency in the groups . economic efficiency were A > B > C Furthermore.. considering the res Its of data of average daily gain. gain percent and feed efficiency of groups showed more economic out put during the last 56 days of fattening period. There fore a period of 160 days for fattening is suggested to be more economical and benefitial. Key words: Sheep I Weight, Bahmaei I Fattening, Carcass, Economic
