Impact of Nanotechnology Performance on EOR from Oil Reservoirs abstract
Today, the world needs oil and gas due topopulation growth and the expansion of industries. The path toachieving this industry is not easy, but there will always be solutionsthat reduce problems and maximize production. To meet this need, new hydrocarbon resources must either be discovered or productionfrom existing reservoirs must be maximized. Since humans facelimitations in discovering new oil and gas reservoirs, as well aslimited recoverable hydrocarbon resources relative to the geologicaland geographical conditions of each region, the best way is to findscientific ways and use new technologies. And modern, thedirection of EOR is oil reservoirs, which is of great importance.Fortunately, nanotechnology (nanotechnology) has made significantprogress, which made it one of the most important technologiesused in the oil and gas industry today. And it has proven that it hasthe ability and potential to bring about a dramatic change in theindustry. In this article, we express the challenges and problems inthe EOR sector and the need to use the nanotechnology process. Also, the purpose of this article is to investigate the effects andperformance of the nanotechnology process in overdraft operationsfrom oil reservoirs. How to use nanoparticles, nanofluids, nanosurfactants and nanogels to significantly increase the EOR ofpetroleum tanks.
