Pricing strategy of virtual power plant production units in the electricity market and operation considering the uncertainty of energy prices in the market

This paper deals with the problem of operation with a virtual power plant in the common market and energy storage. The proposed strategy is a non-equilibrium model based on the Price Determining Unit (PBUC) that takes into account supply-demand balance constraints and VPP security constraints. The proposed model with the parameters of each energy source, which is part of the VPP, creates a single operational profile and places network constraints in its description of portfolio capabilities. The proposed model is a nonlinear integer programming with temporary constraints and is controlled by a genetic algorithm (GA).
