The Framework of Energy Resilience in Urban Scale

The amount of energy consumption is growing around the world and this is the highest in urban areas. Considering the growing trend of global urban population, the energy that is consumed in the cities is increasing. Climate change and various kinds of threats are affecting the energy loss. This has led to an increasing importance of the term resilience among researchers and policy makers. Following the term resilience is defined and then energy resilience as another growing concept is reviewed the importance of existence of a framework which can be considered in managerial plans and decisions for promoting energy resilience in urban areas is emphasized.
