Abstract:

This paper presents a new method based on the combination of two genetic algorithms to solve Nash problem and determine the optimum strategy to defend a power system against the malicious attacks. Considering the relation between defenders and attackers is strategic, so, game theory is used for determining the optimum strategy and intelligent decisions to defend the power system. In the proposed method, defenders and attackers change their own strategy in order to reach to Nash equilibrium. The new proposed algorithm is introduced based on decreasing the cost function for defenders, and a combination of two genetic algorithms using Nash equilibrium. In fact, in this paper, a new method of computational intelligence is proposed to solve Nash problem. Because of prevention of trapping the optimization problem in local minimum or maximum, the results show that the proposed algorithm causes improvement in the computation rate, and also, decreases the costs imposed on defender by malicious attacks. IEEE ۵ test system is used to study and corroborate the algorithm function
