a method for high-level energy estimation in template-based QDI asynchronous circuits abstract

in this paper we present a hight-level energy estimation method for template based QDI asynchronous circuits . Our proposed method is based on SPICE macro - modeling of some basic logical elements plus communication parts of PCHB/PCFB template-based QDI quasi delay insensitive asynchronous circuit . it helps the designers in having an early estimation and also in optimization of their circuits the significance becomes more apparent if we note that this is performed at a high level of abstraction of the design and uses commercial functional simulators.
