Abstract:
Seismic behavior of a ۶۰-story tubular concrete building with regular plan is evaluated. Through this, some parameters such as: P-A effects, infill masonry panels, and torsional effects are inspected separately. For evaluating the ductility reduction factor, inelastic behavior of the structure is also investigated. ETABS software (ver. ۶.۱۳) and DRAIN-۲D program were utilized for analyzing the linear and non-linear response of the structure, respectively. CONKER Software (ver. ۶.۱۳) was also used for the design of the ۶۰-story concrete building. By observing the results of the investigation, it's evident that the new version of BHRC-۲۸۰۰, Iranian Seismic Code, is upgraded thoughtfully because of the close and acceptable results of the inelastic response with those that are estimated in the Code.
