Study of Delay Factors in Construction Projects(Case Study FHW۰۴)

The implementation of most construction projects in the country is national and its credit is centrally at the disposal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, while according to available reports, a large number of these projects will not be completed on time. . The more unrealistic and less expert the budget and approval of approved budgets and appropriations for construction projects that have a significant share in government investments and expenditures, the more likely it is that the duration of the projects will be extended. One of the most common construction projects, the implementation of which is often not in accordance with the predefined schedule and is accompanied by significant time delays, is the bridge structure. Therefore, in the present study, based on the special importance of a structure such as a bridge, we study the factors of delay in the bridge structure. The bridge studied in this research is the US Highway Bridge No. ۴ (FHW۰۴). In this study, based on the opinion of experts and through a questionnaire, we examine the most important factors causing delays in the implementation process of the bridge. The results of the study show that among the three main indicators (financial factors, supervision and executive management factor) to delay the implementation process of the project in question, the financial factors index with a normal weight of ۰.۴۱۹ has the highest priority. The executive management index with a normal weight of ۰.۲۹۳ is in the second priority and the supervision index with a normal weight of ۰.۲۴۸ is in the third priority.
