Abstract:

White spot disease (WSD) is a viral disease with a mortality rate of ۸۰-۱۰۰%, which has been reported as a shrimp disease in China since ۱۹۹۲ and then in all Asian and Latin American countries. In July ۲۰۰۲, severe deaths occurred in Choyibdeh Abadan farmed shrimp. Also, in ۲۰۰۵, a disease was reported from Bushehr province and caused heavy losses in this region. Breeding in Hormozgan city was stabilized after weighing and biometrics in Buenon solution. After performing standard and routine histological procedures, ۶-micron sections were prepared and finally the sections were stained by hematoxylin-eosin method and examined under a light microscope. In this study, different types of fibrous, absorption, storage, sac, embryonic, intestinal and myoepithelial cells were identified and the shape and size of cells and tubes of hepatopancreas were studied. Based on the results of histopathological studies, no Intracellular incubation, vacuolation, enlargement, and nuclear disintegration were not observed in hepatopancreatic cells. In approximately ۱۹ % of the samples, the gills were hypertrophied. Based on these results, no white spot infection was observed in the above shrimp.
