Abstract:

Urban green space is one of the uses that its distribution is very important in the city. In some cities, including Khorramabad, there is no green space in some areas, while some other areas have more green space. Therefore, city managers need to use new analytical tools to respond to these imbalances and shortcomings. Spatial information system plays an important role in urban studies, including the location of urban green spaces. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal location for the construction of urban parks to reduce the deficiencies in the city. In this research, the access situation in the region according to existing standards has been investigated and by considering other urban factors, by providing a suitable model, the optimal distribution of green space in the region has been obtained using the spatial information system. Then, for each of the influential factors in the location of parks and green space, information layers were prepared in GIS environment and in order to model, to each layer, information based on their importance in the location of parks and space Green has been assigned a suitable weight using the hierarchical analysis model. According to the final map, places with higher scores, such as barren lands and open spaces close to cultural and educational centers, have a higher priority. The results of the combination of information layers divided the grounds for selecting suitable locations for green space into ۵ floors, and areas with higher scores have a higher priority for the construction of parks and green spaces.
