Abstract:
The problem investigated in this paper is to maximize the profit from the generation units’ production using the self-scheduling strategy. The self-scheduling problem is investigated for ۱۵ conventional units and an energy storage system satisfying the unit commitment security constraints; also, the emission constraint must be satisfied in order to prevent the environment pollution. The objective function of this problem is to maximize the profits of generating units that is evaluated in the scenarios with and without energy storage system and in different amounts of the risk. On the other hand, the energy not supplied of the system is calculated and compared in different scenarios. The mixed integer non-linear programming has been used to solve the self-scheduling problem and the problem is implemented in GAMS software. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
