Abstract:
Nowadays, due to the increase and evolution of electrical grids, optimal and productive energy generation is one of the key concerns of producers. Also, modern power grids are shifting towards renewable energy sources, as fossil fuel supplies are exhausted and governments are worried about the environmental effects of traditional power generation systems. This paper plans the scheduling of energy sources in the micro-grid (MG), including various power sources such as photovoltaic, fuel cell, battery, wind turbine, and micro-turbine. In addition, this paper suggests a multi-objective function for the optimum scheduling of the micro-grid in order to minimise the overall cost of service at the same time as minimising the emission of generating units. The decision-making method has been carried out using a fuzzy methodology. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach has been checked using two case studies. Lastly, supplying these loads with distributed energy resources (DERs) in the microgrid (MG) can be done as an effective solution. The goal of this paper is to examine the potential for real and developing microgrid implementation in the supply chain of zinc production in Iran.
