Abstract:

In this paper, a model is introduced for calculation of the total power consumption of a central charging stationthat feeds battery swapping station in the centralized charging mode. In centralized charging mode depleted batteries echarged at Central Charging Station (CCS) and then distributed to the battery swapping stations. For this purpose,firstly a model is presented in which, battery charging management is performed with the aim of minimizing station costs.In this context, four different charging management schemes are modelled. Based on this model, a probabilistic model isexpressed by which, the total power consumption of the station during a sample day is calculated. This probabilisticmodel addresses random battery swapping pattern of electric vehicles, as well as the market share of different batterytypes. Finally, the proposed framework is implemented and the obtained results are discussed.
