Applied Fluid Mechanics: Laboratory Investigation of Head Losses in DifferentCentrifugal Pump Configurations abstract
This paper presents the results of the experimental measurements of the head losses in differentCentrifugal pump configurations such as single, parallel, and series. In every case, pumps are identical, and the average flow rate ranges from 4 to 19 L/min. During measurements, the inlet and outlet pressuresof pumps were recorded. Additionally, by using the Bernoulli equation, theoretical pump head loss wascollected. Since using pumps in different set ups important in different practical equipment, thisexperiment help provides more information about the characteristics, flow rate, and head loss changes ofdifferent settings.
