Sand bio filter, design, construction, and use in water purification abstract
In drip irrigation is predicted to remove the suspended material and somepollutants, the treatment system. In this research, a unique filter wasdesigned and tested for the first time. It was named sand bio filter. Theaim of this research is to do a study in order to improve the sand filter indrip Irrigation. For this purpose various treatments filter, sand, activatedcarbon, rice husk and zeolite were defined and each separately tested inthe role of a filter. The water raw was passed from the adsorbents, and theadsorption rate was measured out on each of the absorbents .The resultsshowed that the organic adsorbents, rice husk and activated carbon arebetter than to mineral absorbents, Sand and zeolite for water purification.
