Analysis of predictive models of roadheader performance abstract
In some situations, mechanical or mechanized excavating can be an alternative to the classic excavating and blasting methods, and nowadays the use of this method in creating underground spaces is increasing. Compared to traditional methods, mechanized methods have advantages such as higher excavating speed, higher production efficiency, higher safety, less additional excavating, reduced maintenance, less personnel, etc. Among the mechanized excavating machines and roadheader have a high ability to rocks with low to medium resistance, so that this ability along with (Partial-face Excavation) and (Selective Excavation) has led to the widespread use of these machines in mining and tunneling activities. For these reasons, we analyzed the important models of roadheader.
