Abstract:

SrCO۳ has wide use in biomedical application due to the known effects of Sr۲+ in bone tissue engineering. In this context, developing simple techniques to synthesize Nanoparticles of SrCO۳ have been applied by inexpensive process by using polyvinylprrolidone (PVP, ۴۰). We characterize the synthesized nanoparticles in terms of morphology, crystalline structure and the ability to release Sr۲+ ions. Moreover the cell viability approved that our particles have no toxicity. In conclusion we have proposed an efficient technique to synthesized nanoparticles of SrCO۳ which is an opportunity to get benefit of Sr ions in biomedical applications.
