Abstract:
Cavitation and phase change has been investigated thoroughly in this study based on cell Reynolds number. The Reynolds number is the ration between inertial forces and viscous forces. This number increases as inertial forces increases. Cavitation has been stimulated using Schnerr-Sauer model. There have been some modifications in number of bubbles and bubble radius which forms the source terms in the transport equation. A rectangular shaped nozzle is utilized in this study to evaluate formation of the cavitation inception. Cell Reynolds has also been investigated.
