Abstract:
In this study, in order to investigate heavy metal pollution and assess the pollution risk of these metals in Ahvaz oil field, geochemical indicators and ecological risk of metals were determined and environmental pollution was investigated. By collecting ۱۲ groundwater samples in Ahvaz oil field, the concentration of metals after chemical digestion of the amount of elements was measured using ICP-MS device. Concentrations of the elements nickel, vanadium, cobalt, chromium and barium were read. Contamination coefficient, modified degree of pollution, ecological risk was used to describe the potential hazard of metal elements. The results of this study showed that nickel had the highest concentration. The contamination index of nickel metal was medium to high. The pollution index (mCd) of chromium and cobalt was Considerable. Modified pollution degree index values showed that nickel metal is the most polluting metal in the studied area. And vanadium is low. The risk of contamination of nickel metal is severe in the region. The ecological risk of the total elements is ۷۱.۲۵. The ecological risk of pollution of studied metals in Ahvaz oil field is moderate.
