Abstract:

Terrorism is a complex and controversial phenomenon that has been studied from multiple perspectives, including legal, psychological, sociological, political, and religious. In international law, terrorism is defined as the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. This narrow definition focuses on the act itself and the motivations behind it .There is a common misconception that all terrorists are Muslims. However, this is not the case, as terrorism transcends religious and cultural boundaries. Nevertheless, there has been a growing concern about the relationship between Islam and terrorism, and the role that religious beliefs play in shaping the motivations and justifications of terrorists who identify as Muslim. In conclusion, the study of terrorism from different perspectives helps to shed light on its complex and multifaceted nature Understanding its various dimensions is important in order to develop effective strategies for countering it and to challenge the stereotypes and misconceptions that exist about terrorism and its mot invitations.
