The role of architecture in increasing the absorption ofcommercial tourists

In the ۲۱st century, the advancement of technology has made human time become much freein order to dedicate to his leisure time. In fact, this century should be called the era of tourismindustry. Because of the technological, cultural, political, social, and economic infrastructurescreated in the ۲۱st century, tourism phenomenon is an inevitable fact in human behavior andpractice to satisfy his curiosity. Traveling other regions in the world, whether real or virtual,with a variety of motives is one of the essentials of the twenty-first century's life and forms theprocess that transcends national and international boundaries, taking an approach beyond governmentand nation. Tourism as one of the sources of income and employment at the local levelcan be an approach for economic development. In this study, we investigated the tourism issueand its related concepts as one of the most popular ways to spend leisure time in the presentcentury. Then, we briefly review the tourism industry in Iran and the factors contributingto the industry’s development and discuss the necessity of addressing the issue of architectureand its role in the development of the tourism and tourism industry and pay attention to its facilities.This research is a descriptive study using documentary and library methods.
