Comparing the rights and powers of the armed forces in the constitution of Iran and Iraq

The purpose of this research was to compare the rights and powers of the armed forces in the constitution of Iran and Iraq. Every country needs a powerful and coherent armed force to maintain its independence, security and territorial integrity. After the establishment, the Islamic Republic of Iran has provided armed forces, including the General Headquarters, the Islamic Republic Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the police force, and the Ministry of Defense and Support, in order to perpetuate itself and ward off internal and external threats. They are armed forces. The country of Iraq has also dealt with the issue of armed forces in different divisions. The armed forces in this country consist of three units: ground force, air force and navy. The importance of this issue is such that in the constitutions of many countries, including Iran and Iraq, they have addressed the issue of the armed forces and identified the competence and duties of these forces through various principles and articles. The results of the research show that in the constitution of these two countries, under various principles of competence and duties, including guarding the territorial integrity and independence of the country, maintaining internal and border security and order, dealing with internal and external threats, etc., for the armed forces seen
