Abstract:

A facile procedure was applied to successfully synthesize novel heterogeneous catalyst [SBA-۱۵/IL/Pd] with high activity in Hiyama coupling reaction. The catalyst was created by immobilizing Pd NPs on SBA-۱۵ that had been chloropropyl-modified and functionalized with triethanolamine. The prepared catalyst has been characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, Field emission scanning electron microscopy and N۲ adsorption/ desorption isotherms. The synthesized nanocatalyst could be easily recovered from the reaction mixture and reused five times without any loss in activity.
