A comprehensive model for innovation network management (CMINM) based on its environment abstract

Recently, concepts such as 'open innovation' and 'innovation network' have become important and beneficial to both academic and market society due to intensive globalcompetition. In this study, at first, theoretical aspects and literature related to innovation network and its management arereviewed, analyzed and classified to make a constructiveliterature review. This led to the classifications consisting of: building blocks of innovation network management(INM),managing innovation, dimensions of relational network, network environment, types of innovation and knowledge and types ofperformance. The review shows most researches have limited investigation and the development of the model to their particular views and applications. In other words, there rarelyexist comprehensively and systematically model developed in the literature. Also, due to the complexity inherent in dynamicsystems, innovation networks are often non-linear and hard to observe and control. Also, knowledge about regulation, controland communication functions in system is known as 'cybernetics' related to control and system theories. Thus, general cybernetic model and its modules are examined and finally, to develop acomprehensive model of innovation network management(CMINM), theoretical aspects and factors classified are assigned to modules of the model and it is evaluated and validated through interviewing with a few experts
