A Robust Optimization Approach to Designing a Remanufacturing Closed Loop Network abstract
Uncertainty is one of the characteristics of product recovery networks. In particular, the strategic design of their logistic infrastructure has to take uncertaininformation into account. In this study, a robust optimization (RO) model for a remanufacturing closed loop network design problem (RCLNDP) with uncertainparameters is presented. In the outset, a deterministic (Det) mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model is proposed to determining the structure of closed-loop remanufacturing network. Then, the robust counterpart of the proposed MILP model is presented. At the end, toevaluate the prominence of the solutions obtained by the RO model under different test problems, the optimality of Det and RO model under realizations of worst and best case is examined
